After retiring in August, 1983 with 26 years of service to the Houston Police Department, we started Kelley’s Country Cookin. Our first location was inside Lang’s Pharmacy at 8015 Park Place at the Gulf Freeway. We began with 9 devoted employees and a seating capacity of 50. Today, the entire Kelley family takes pride in ownership and we now have seven locations, employ over 600 and have a combined seating capacity of approximately 1600. We could not have achieved this level of success without our loyal customers who continue to patronize us and make Kelley’s a regular part of their lives.
